Like sailing? You will LOVE sailing. |
"Wicked Cruisah"- 7 hrs - 1050 private or 175 pp
"A Week's Vacation"- 8 hrs - 1200 private or 200 pp A day on the water is like a week's vacation. You'll have time to fully indulge your whims and have an adventure within an adventure.
With 8 hours, you can stop watching the clock and slip into island time: that leisurely, nappy, smiley way of just being immersed in whatever you're doing - or not doing. See and do enough to make you more interesting at parties. For months. Create memories to cherish. For years. If you're looking for an even longer day of it, we can do that, up to ten, twelve, fourteen hours of fun. Over eight hours is billed at an 100/hr as a private booking and allows visits to a multitude of islands and places. |
Cross off a few things on your Bucketlist
Tingle your sensesThe joy of a smaller charter like Bufflehead is that every seat is a front row seat. We are close to the water and away from the crowds.
No, I will not play "Freebird." |
Enjoy the BoatTake the time to fall in love with the quiet grace of a fine vintage, wooden sailboat as it leans and glides through the beauty of Maine's renowned Penobscot Bay.
And yes, that is a Bufflehead Sweatshirt. You can fall in love with our shirts too. About that cool logo. |
Love the SceneryEver had a picnic atop a panoramic granite cliff on Hurricane Island with the tapestry of sea, islands and sky all laid out below you? "I can't think of a better way to spend a day..."
Bet you didn't even know that was an option. You're welcome to join us. |
You'll have the time to really explore the rugged, renowned splendor of Maine's coastal sights as well as its areas of peaceful charm. From sweeping ocean views under a sprawling sky; blue water and cliffs of solid rock, to intimate, rarely seen quiet coves of glassy water and sloping, earthy waterlines with little wooden piers.
With Bufflehead, we'll dance on the wind and water to experience the Maine Coast. If you want a week of memories, stories, pictures and good times, then a full day on the water is just what you're looking for. You can cross Penobscot Bay and actually stop watching the scenery, just close your eyes and concentrate on what it feels like to sail, and what it sounds like to glide along aboard Bufflehead, carried by the tasty sea winds.
Have you ever napped in the sun, on the deck of a classic wooden sailboat? Put it on your bucket-list and give us a call. Or sail the boat yourself, and I'll get to take a nap! (Joke: You can sail it, I won't nap though. Unless you have your Captain's license!) |
