Wow, what a blur August was, I've met so many wonderful and interesting people, from the couple who grows 14,000 acres of wheat for Maker's Mark to the former First Trombone player of the NYC symphony. I had a fellow propose to his beloved at the head of the pier while their families hid on the boat. So many kids, a batch of farmers, swim trips, moon rises, I served as the mode to spread the ashes of a Californian man who asked his family to come to Penobscot Bay to return his mortal remains to the sea in this "magic place." (His words.) It's been great. Now to get it together for another day on the water, thanks to all.
Captain Daniel Bennett rebuilt Bufflehead, maintains and sails her, sharing the experiences and the delights of sailing her with all who come aboard, and maybe here with others too.
